Massimo’s responsibility span from Solution Marketing to Communication, external relations with press and analysts toward the Customer Marketing.
Key elements of his organization are the Strategic Regional Marketing teams, distributed in the regional headquarter and working on the top accounts.
Prior to Join Motorola in April 2005 Massimo was the Marketing Director Europe at Lucent Technologies, a vendor of communications networking hardware, software and services.
His primary responsibilities were marketing plans, coordinated initiatives and management of resources across the European Region. In Lucent Technologies Italia, one of the core branch of Lucent, he also held the position of Technology and Marketing Director, driving technological strategy of the company and the business development.
Prior to joining Lucent in 2001, Sangiovanni spent few years in Avaya Communication, one of Lucent’s spin offs, as EMEA Field Marketing Director with the responsibility of strategic marketing, branding and programs for top customers. Prior Avaya Sangiovanni was CTO and Strategic Marketing Manager of the Italian Branch of National Instruments.
Massimo Sangiovanni has a Master of Electronic Engineering and has also a strong technical background thanks to his experiences in Bell Labs (USA) and other research centers.
